BLACK COMBE VIEW
8 Moor Terrace Millom
Black Combe View quite literally has a great view of Black Combe on the south western corner of the Lake District. This corner of Cumbria is often overlooked as a holiday destination yet it is only a few minutes drive to the heart of the Lake District or to the fantastic sandy beaches of the Cumbrian west coast from Haverigg to St Bees.
The beach at Haverigg is just 1 mile away and the centre of Millom with it's shops, pubs and restaurants is a half mile scenic walk along a public footpath or a 2 minute drive away.
It is a fantastic base for walkers, cyclists, motorcyclists, wildlife enthusiasts, history buffs and watersports enthusiasts and there are lots of activities to do for children and places to excercise your dogs too. You could take the train which is one of the most scenic coastal railways in England either south as far as Grange over Sands or even further across the River Kent bridge to Arnside, or head north as far as Carlisle.
